Ann Craven

It is with sadness that I pay tribute to Ann Craven  who died today.  Many people who are connected to Injustice will know Ann....she has worked hard for many through the Innocent (Oldham) group and I know she will be very sadly missed.  My sympathy and condolences go to Alf her husband and her family...but she will be remembered!!

Thus far I haven't had the pleasure of getting to know all of the people who've worked on your behalf down the years, Susan, living as I do in Portsmouth. But it's people like Ann to whom we all owe so much. So, may Ann rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I remember Ann and know how hard she worked. I remember talking with her on the phone about campaign ideas.

My sympathies go to Alf and her family and friends.

God Bless Ann xx

Ann was my first point of contact when my husband was wrongly convicted in 2004, she gave me hope and strength and became a regular voice that I chatted to, so much so that she encouraged me to open my own support group namely convicted but innocent which I later closed and went on to study prison law and now qualified as a prison law advisor. Anne and Alf became dear friends so much so she came to my wedding on the release of my husband after his appeal and will be greatly missed by both Bill and I we were devastated hearing the news. Our love and condolences go to Alf and his family and Ann will always have a place in my heart god bless you anne. Bill and Clare.xx
