R.I.P Hilary Hinchliffe

I wanted to pay respect to a wonderful lady who sadly died today. Hilary Hinchliffe began writing to me whilst I was in prison and she was so inspiring. She was passionate about Injustice and took on single handedly the case of Frank Wilkinson, who is still in jail despite having served over a quarter of a century. I was fortunate to meet up with her several times since my release and despite being in her 80's, she was the type of person one would expect to go on forever. My sympathies go to her family - she will be sadly missed by many.

Considering the current climate of public opinion dictated by the ignorant tabloid press, thank goodness there were, and still are, such people as Hilary. Each of these do their bit, however small, to expose the truth and to make it known.

If I may paraphrase a comment by one of my "heroines", Sister Helen Prejean CSJ: Whenever Hilary lit a candle, she said to the darkness that she begged to differ. So, May this lady truly "Rest in Peace - and Rise to Glory!"

Hilary Hinchliffe! I am so sad to hear that. Yes, I'm sure she will be missed very much, she was a star.

Very sorry to hear about this, although I'm afraid I didn't know of either Hilary Hinchliffe or Frank Wilkinson. I'll have to read up on this case, which sounds particularly awful.

Although I did not know this wonderful lady, I know of her, and her presence goes on in all of the people she has touched.
Bless.
